We're glad that Film Four is now free, but sorry to see Judi Dench stuck in a lobster outfit!

The tower of another church in Bath (i.e. not the famous abbey).
|
Adina tucking in for some Indian food.
|
This path was apparently a strolling place for Jane Austen. The guide asked if anyone had read "Northanger Abbey", which was based on life in Bath. Only Adina's hand shot up. He asked about "Persuassion" and again Adina's hand--and only Adina's hand--reached high into air. She hoped he would keep going, but he stopped at those two to save the rest of us some embarrassment.

A beautiful sunset over the Royal Crescent.

Near The Circus. Peter kept humming Chim-Chimney and expecting the skinny legs of Dick Van Dyke to come dancing into view on the rooftops.
|
The Abbey all lit up.

Bath stone everywhere you look.

Pulteney Bridge over (a different) River Avon, reminiscent of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
|
Another view of the Abbey, which is quite stunning from any direction.
