This path was apparently a strolling place for Jane Austen. The guide asked if anyone had read "Northanger Abbey", which was based on life in Bath. Only Adina's hand shot up. He asked about "Persuassion" and again Adina's hand--and only Adina's hand--reached high into air. She hoped he would keep going, but he stopped at those two to save the rest of us some embarrassment.
