This is one of many clever ways to climb over or pass through the myriad fences that cover the landscape.
No sweat for those with long legs.

A fine valley view.

The Inn at Wasdale Head.
The little mountain church. Several intrepid, but unlucky, climbers rest in the graveyard.
Looking back towards Wast Water. Illgill sits to the left of the lake.
More fences.
Lambs practicing their headbutts.

Sunset begins, and up on the hills, all of the lambs start to call for their moms and dinner.
Peter and his tiny new video camera.
A very cheery Peter.
High clouds.
And high peaks.
And wild raspberries! The day was a complete success.
More clouds.
And more wild fruit! Cherries this time, from right next to our tent.
